Thread: Do Rifleman skills help with acid rifle?

No, Rifle skills do not help when using the Heavy Acid Rifle at all. Despite the name it's got an entire set of modifiers only for that particular weapon, +HAR speed and +HAR accuracy, and you can't use any specials with it except Acid Single 1/2 and Cone 1/2. Unfortunate, yes, but it would be crazy to use a weapon you can slice up to about 1000 damage for mindbleeding, wouldn't it?



Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but if you think the Mona Lisa is not a good painting, frankly it says more about you than it does about Da Vinci's skills as a painter.

I'm a rifleman who's sick to death of not being able to get his hands on a T21 rifle, I had an idea tonight though to get an acid rifle, wouldn't take me much extra work to become a commando and it might be worth it... was wondering if my rifleman skills (+ rifle speed, headshot3, mindshot2) would work with an acid rifle?
