Thread: Advice for to-be commando
I will likely become a commando in 2-4 days and i have several questions. To begin with, after i master marksman and commando, what 3rd profession should i master? Particularly what works well for you? Tera kasi, medic, scout, etc?
Secondly, I'd like to get my guns for commando now partially from the fear that they'll nerf some of them and more likely I will lose the resources on my server. What is good damage for various commando guns unsliced and what would be a fair price for them. Thanks for any advice/info!
Expect to pay 30k for a HAR or a flamethrower.
Also get medic.
Just using an uncerted HAR firing 5 times eats 250 with regen health.
Ya, medic works. Get First Aid and Pharm.
Since Commando uses up so many skills, you won't be able to get so high up in other professions so choose them wisely. Ithrew away Artisan (almost Master) to make moreskillpoints available. You can play around and figure out what combination of professions pleases you the most. There is no perfect combination.

If going master commando you still have enough skill points to get master pistoleer. The speed bonuses should be nice. (I was told the pistol speed modswork one of the guns. They do right?)
Yes, pistol skills can be usedwith the Launcher Pistol.
However, our other Heavy Weapons are better now, so there's no HUGE need to take pistoleer anymore.
Pistoleer would be a great addon, butpersonally, Iprefer to keep Novice Medic withPharm4&FirstAid3 (soI can use Stim D's - the ones experimented down to 40 Medical Use that is, and for healingmyself betterin/after battle)plus a bit of Creature Handler (I found this to be an extremelyfun and addictingprofession for something on the side).
Like I said earlier, there is no perfect combination.
Experiment with different professions and your skill points.
You'll extend the life and enjoyment of the game much much more when you do.
