Step 1. Clone.

Step 2. Go overt, pull out your 2 at-sts

Step 3. Duel and get killed.

Step 4. Since you are so close to cloning center At-St's don't depop, but go covert.

Step 5. Walk over to your two covert at-st's and go hunting safe from any rebel forces.

Don't believe me?

I took a screenshot of the guy without the overt tag, and an examination of the at-st showing to whom it belonged.

I believe you, it happened to me by accident. I was hunting with my Trooper Pet outside the Imperial Base on Talus. I got killed by a creature and cloned at the base (I didn't paid to clone there I just selected closest facility) when I returned to the place I got killed my trooper was there and fully functioning but yet I was now covert.

Accidently I don't mind.

It's the deliberate that bugs me.

I was healing in the cantina and guy comes in saying someone duel me and db me please.

Didn't think anything of it till I went outside and there were 2 at-sts.

Got ready to put the hurt on them and they went covert.

NEWSFLASH

No Rebels (unless in a pack of over 20) will go near you with an ATST, and if they do, congratulations faction points

Hah, you're kidding right? A lone Commando exploiting Revenge TEF can kill any number of AT-STs with minimal effort, that fire dot goes right through armor. AT-STs are pretty much completely unusable in PvP now.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but if you think the Mona Lisa is not a good painting, frankly it says more about you than it does about Da Vinci's skills as a painter.

Yeah SWbarker im guessing you havent seen it happen yet, for some reason even if the mob/pet has a high resistance to fire the burn dmg will still do 600-1k dmg a shot or a burn or a whatever you want to call it..

Anyway AT-ST's drop very very easily now, as long as you land a burn its basicly dead.

You are correct sir.

While I may not do much damage with the flamethrower, if I'm successful to light it on fire...the owner of said At-St better put it out or his pet is toast. Literally. Will burn to the ground.

And sure it will one shot kill me. But I'll come running right back and try again.

If you don't like it, don't bring it out in PvP.

Just annoyed that people can bring them out to hunt with and be perfectly immune to attack.

Why? Well since a doc and with his 2 at-st's solo'd an ANCIENT Krayt, it's kind of unbalanced.

And CH's were overpowered. Phbbt.

This has been going around for a long time on both sides and it's **edit** cheesy. The first time I saw it there was one guy running around with 3 AT-STs while Covert. It was the weakest thing I've seen in the game yet. This was before Commandos were nothing but gimped and just one made you invincible but he was too cowardly to be Overt with 3

They need to put a check on faction armor and pets every time someone is resurected/cloned. If they're covert when they come back to life de-equip the armor and pack the pets. We had a group of "Imperial Stormtroopers" in the cantina today. Apearently they're idea of role-playing a Stormtrooper is to buy the armor and the stand in the middle of a large group of Overts and SpecForce Marines and trade verbal insults.

The people joining the Galactic Civil War and then refuse to fight is one of my pet peeves. Why don't they just go neutral and stop complaining to me about PvP?

I had to fight people who heavily exploited the Pet TEF. The best way to avoid the revenge TEF is to hit and run. If you leave town or pack the pet for a while they'll loose their TEF and their bite. It's also a good way of avoiding a Faction Point endurance war.
