Hey fellow commandos

I know all of us are definitely wanting to get the rest of our profession straightened out (HAR incompetencies, titles, and with the flame thrower being a melee weapon -- LOL I love it when it show's in the combat text at certain times, "You swing with flamethrower...") but I was recalling how us commandos are going to be able to participate in the GWC by controlling switches in bases and this thought of every other war game / movie came to me...

Wouldn't it be really cool if there were mounted artillerylike heavy machine guns, mortars,andlaser cannons that are umoveable on a battlefield, but would allow us commandos to operate them like the switches? I mean we would be limited to being stuck in one spot and open to a close attack, controlling that gun and maybe our defenses (even tho we already don't have any!) would suffer a penalty, butwe can just sit there and protect a base while strafe firing all around on incoming enemies. It would be awesome to havemaybe added to field tactics linedifferent mechanical operations to base turrents andsuch. I just remember those automated guns from Aliens thatwere spitting out shells like no tomorrow.

Anyway, what do y'all think?
