Thread: At one point in beta was the Commando suppose to see detail information on other Players?
While reading the description of Field Tactics IV:
"Field Tactics IV: Demostrates to the Commando how a sharp knowledge of the psychology of an opponent is just as valuable in combat as understanding their anatomy and physiology. A cornered Field Tactic Commando should never be underestimated, and should be avoided at all costs unless they are incapacitated or otherwise distracted."
Looks like to me like a scout with high hunting can see the in's and out's of a creature we are suppose to see the in's and out's of a Player. Reading the whole tactics line reads more than just learning grenades so what gives?
Finish fixing the commando's please.
I think the ability to see things about another character would be fantastic...perhaps not as detailed. I can also see that being a Bounty Hunter ability.
Cestus Virium - Former Brawler + Former TKA Desciple + Former Pistoleer + Quasi Pistoleer = One confused Zabraki
Joar-Addam (Joar) Nessosin - Suffered to exist under the control of a plyer with the attention span of a two-year old hopped up on candy...
I was a pistoleer in beta, but I do remember commandos needing to take artisan in order to craft munitions, thus where the ordinance manufacturer title comes from.

I spent about a month reaching novice commando in beta, but I never really got a chance to test it out much since that was the last weekend of beta. The biggest change that I remember is that indeed commando used to require engineering 4. Initially we were going to be able to craft out own grenades and power-ups for grenades but too many people complained about a commando having to learn aritsan skills so they nixed the requirement and move grenade crafting to weaponsmiths.
There also wasn't a designated flamethrower/heavy acid rifle line, but I don't remember what was in there place. Very very few people made it to commando in beta and those that did only had a few weeks to test it before the end of beta so the reason why commando got more attention than other professions is that the first few months have been the first real beta test for commando.
