I dont want to rant, I want to be positive, however I have little time compared to most to play the game. I work 3rd shift, go to school in the evening, and raise a son in the day so my time is limited that I can play the game that revolves around a universe I love, Star Wars.
The problem is, while I do see the need for balance and rebalancing while the game is still young, the lack of information on what to expect of our profession after the rebalancing. What takes some people a couple weeks, takes me a few months so in turn, when you balance things out,or attempt to, and the profession Im working on or going for takes a turn for the worse, or just winds up being something diferent than what I was hoping for, thats a few months of work down the drain for me and a few more months of grinding to try to make another profession while others have shown they can jump to the next "uber" profession in a very short time. This leaves me with a lot of uncertainty of where I would like to go.
I am a master commanod, took me along time to get there from release date but I made it only to come in right at the 2.5 damage modifier then work my way to master during that time. I dont want to be uber, I just want things to work right that currently dont and would like to know where you, the DEVs see our role in the GCW after the rebalancing. I dont want to be a flame thrower only guy, remove the Flame thrower if it is what you must do to make commandos what they should be, but I dont want to only have consumable weapons that WS's are reluctant to make either.
This is especially important to casual gamers cause we cant just become a master in another profession in just a couple days as some have done. There is a lot of information on this commando forum that asks some good questions. PLEASE, let us hear something.
