I just got my Novice Commando, and I have a couple of questions. If this stuff is posted elsewhere I apologize for the repeated questions.

In the Commando Guide, it states that the LP is the only weapon that we can drop a Powerl-Up on. Is that still true?

Do any of the Ranged Support specials work with Commando weapons (ie SuppressionFire1, Overcharge1/2)?

Is it still the preffered route to do the FT Tree first, then the AR then the HW?

Yes, the lp is the only commando weapon that takes power ups.

You can use any special in the ranged support tree with all the commando weapon, and you can use pistol specials with the launcher pistol.

The preferred route is flamethrower, then heavy weapons, then acid rifle since the acid rifle is borked atm. Supposedly teh HAR is getting fixed in the next publish.

Ancient weapons and hokey religions are no match for a rocket launcher in your backpack.

Fixing the HAR? You mean that big paper weight slung over my shoulder? Hopefully they will not fix it like they did the flamethrower.

Now on to the practical side of my post...Does anyone actually use the marksman shots like supression shot with a flamethrower? I admit it, I usually start of with flame single 2 or maybe flame cone 2 depending on the targets (mobs mainly).
