Thread: MY Plasma FT does not take pups?

I just had crafted for me one nasty PFT
However i could not put my pups on it...
I have only used the proton rifle till this point and it took my pups.
So when I finally get the PFT I wanted ... it will not take pups?
Is this a bug? do i need melee pups for the PFT (odd but asking)? or can you simply not pup this?

Wow... that is so lame
What commando weapons can you pup... if any? (I know you can pup a proton rifle, i have done that)

This is in the top issues stickied thread...
All weapons with the label of "Special Heavy Weapon" cannot be pupped due to Pre-CU restrictions (imagine a pupped FT from Pre-CU and with a flamesingle 2 which has a very, very high multiplier...reason why we couldnt use pups, that has since changed however).
Thats: The PFT, FT, and HAR - essentially all the old weapons. The LP was always a pistol, and all the consumables are under Rifles, and hence can take power-ups.
