Heyas.


I finally got my custom Plasma Flamer made, and I wanted to share with my fellow commandos BMFcrafter of Kauri's excellent craftsmanship.

is the 'element' damage the dot tick?

The elemental damage doesn't seem to have much to do with the DOT tick at all. It's been as low as 232, and as high as 384 when I've been watching that sort of thing. Elemental damage adds to both min and max now that it's working correctly. It also ignores PSG's and helps against those wearing armor that stacks high against energy at the expense of special protection.

Really nice elemental damage I must say!

And, no...elemental just adds more damage, making the weapons exotic...nothing to do with the DoT. It may have an indirect affect, if the DoT is based off of damage percentages although...but its not a direct correlation, as weapons with elemental damages do not necessarily have DoTs.

Power cells or tissues used in that? if so, do you know the stats?

+182 max damage cells were used, as well as a crafted stock to lower sac. Amazing results were reached on damage (pre slice at 1078 would otherwise have been 1070ish) and SAC (would otherwise have been 103).
