Strolling through other professions, I came to the conclusion that we need a list that supplies us and people interested in the Commando prof with info about our weapons.
Im not just talking about what lvl you can get them at, but also min/max damage, min SAC, elemental damage, and most imprortantly - how to get them! Because Im sure that there must be some type of heavy weapon that is loot or quest affiliated.
For example look at the Carbineer thread, they a perfect list of all the carbines and all the info you need on them.

min/max damage = how well crafted... No guns in the game all have the same stats

Every gun has its own min/max damage it can do.
ask a good smuggler or weaponsmith

Let me get this straight. you want a list of all commando weapons, with stat caps and reqs and if they're crafted, missioned or looted. And if they're missioned or looted, a description of how to get them.
I don't think that's such a bad idea.

Yup =]
and I think we can all lend a helping hand.
If someone happens to know that a certain quest gives a certain weapon, or loot, then write it here (so that we can sum it all up for a new good post).
And, if someone can take a look at the weapons now and check reqs that would be nice.
And if there is a weaponsmith here, than he can share his knowledge about average damage ratings, SAC,and +elemental damage.
Just a thought though
It seems other profession threads have it, just hoping we could get one too.

Weapon Cap Reference
Weapon Certifications
Guide to Weapon Enhancements
The weaponsmith forum has quite a bit of helpful threads
. Although, some entries for the Commando weapons are incomplete, you all could help with that over there. The certifications + CL levels are already stickied in the Technical Breakdown (one or two of the loot weapons are missing however), but since you guys asked...Ill put in a quick-facts section in the new guide. Its a doozy so far...

those lists are so incomplete
most weapons the speedcap isn't even mention....damage cap only mentioned for the PFT
I wish the crafting forums would post all the caps of the stuff they make (including components).
it kind of bothers me...I came back and haven't played in the curb...but when I turn to the forum most info you find is pre-curb, like the smell of napalm thread.
