Thread: So how long should I wait until I cancel my subscription?
I've been playing WoW since about Feb. and it's getting harder and harder to care about this game after seeing a game that's fun to play and bugs don't just sit ignored. Sooo.. While I've tried to keep up to date on here and dev tracker, is there any word on commando fixes? Or should I just cancel and put myself out of my misery and save 15 bucks a month?
Anyways, although i have not been playing WoW (played up to a level 7 paladin.... just didn't get into it.) I did pick up and start playing Guild Wars! If you don't have this game... i would recommend getting it. I mean, who the hell doesn't want an MMORPG thats FREE!
maybe if you are board of commando maybe try another prof? and you don't have to reroll your charater at all.
i'm not trying to kill the commando board im also saying this to other people too. no one is holding a gun to your head to not change your templet.
wow will get boring fast once you get to lvl 60 imo.
either you have access to MC and grind it like mad (BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING)
OR you grind the battlegroups to get the reputation and pvprewards (BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING)
OR you don't do any of the above, and you get stuck at lvl 60 with very crappy gear....
I know, I'm in situation 3, played wow since feb, came back to swg never having playing post curb....Two weeks down the road I already have VERY competitive gear and I'm enjoying myself, not doing some mindless grind (two the reason I got that gear so easy has a lot to do with the fact I still know loads of people from before I quit).
they're trying to fix the AoE problem, but they just not very succesfull in doing it lol

Basically it's not a point of templates but of playing a broken game that no one fixes.
I think what we should do is have a name change, say to "Jedi Commando", maybe we'll get some love then!!
gah I've been 60 for some time too....can't do MC as raid are always from 7pm till midnight and I always work till 10pm....and I don't feel the need to spend countless hours in there, spamming one attack...
I looked up gear for me (mage), it ended up with best pre-MC damage gear I'd have 2500 health and +150 damage, with no damage gear, only int/stam (though I need spirit) I could barely get over 3k health.... compare that to mc/bwl mages with 4k+ health AND over 200 in damage gear 
to add insult to injury, in pvp I went even harder downhill as MC people have such high fire resist it's not uncommon to have 25-75% of my damage resisted.
to add even more insult: melee classes get better weapons every month, making it so just about any melee class can outdamagea mage/ in the case of warr/rogue they can 2 hit me.....ffs I've even been hit by a pallie for 1600+ damage!!!

ehehe tbh I have 7 alts ranginh from a 35 warlock to a lvl 10 ehm whatever...
alts where a necisity as I also was playing on a server where horde made up 25% of the population....so levelling was insanely hard....hours of being corpsecamped not uncommon...
I've had a blast though since I've come back...currently mbh m pistols cm 4000, but already planning my return to commando (I won't switch before I have my arsenal)
I'm going either m commando CM4400, smuggler 4030, pistols 0040 OR m commando BH 4040 CM 4000
