We all know what it is, lets talk about it.
Please don't cite "realistic" examples, this is a game.
But if you must, I bet I could switch from a Ft to a carbine irl, a lot quicker than in game.
So please, voice your opinion on the weapon switching delays.
This MUST stay bumped.

The delay for putting on armor --- yeah probably...
The delay to switch weapons and between combat queue commands....Way too long
6 seconds to equip followed by 6 seconds to fire special followed by 13 seconds to firespecial agian.
I have no printable words to express how I feel about this delay.
(Of course I think all imps should have their time delay doubled.) <- just kidding

Does anyone know what prompted the weapon switch delay?
I heard it was because people were going from a ranged weapon to unarmed to make the NPC's drop their weapons...
Then when the NPC's dropped to unarmed and close in on you, you could pull out your ranged weapon and waste them.
I say, why don't they just make the NPC's smater and better equipped.
OH WAIT!
They did!
So remove our delay? Please?
So, somewhere in the NPC's code is a string written to match whatever the player is doing.
If the player is in melee, the npc switches to melee, same w/ ranged.
Why don't they just remove that variable?
Make is so an NPC spawns with a predetermined attack choice, (ranged or melee) and they are forced to stick with it.
