Is there a noticeable difference between these two specials? Am I going to notice a huge difference when I toast something with single 1 vs single 2? Is the bleed higher as with the damage?

Don't forget that you also get more initial damage... also I've found that it actually reloads faster than flameS1... i also saw this for FlameC1 to FlameC2.
But the main thing is you can get double the burn DoT, but not always fully double.

Flame single 1 has a damage multiplier of 3 and a 16s delay
Flame Single 2 has a damage multiplier of 5 and an 8s delay
Thats a xx4x commando not master commando but as we have no speed mods at master I dont think it makes much difference

I think the fire DoT is 15% of the initial damage hence the DoT from the FS2 is higher than FS1

I went from 3 - 4 shots to kill quenkers (depending on the pool i hit) with flamesingle1 to single shot killing with flamesingle2. That was *very* noticable

You make the special cool down more of a monster than it should be think they are actually just double your attack speed, with the high speed capon heavy weaponsand lack of alot of speed modifiers, it really rears it monsterous head.
I think Raw damage multipler on single1(int) isaround 5and .75 per burn tick, on Single2(int) it's around 9 and 1 per tick.
I noticed big differences between the twowhen Iwas climbing through the ranks of theFT tree, and now that Ihave2decentFTsone with a speed slice and one with a damage slice,it become much more apparent.

The burn damage cant be .75 per tick as when i flame single 2 for want of a better example a mokk shamen he takes 7-9k of damage (on a good day) and then burns at 850 - 900 per tick which is about .15, the damage multiplier was ruthlessly nicked from www.swgcentre.com and the 8 and 16s were from my own personal checks. It would be useful if the devs fixed the system so that we have the skill tapes work on heavy weapons but thats probably too much to ask.
Hope thats put ur mind at ease

The speed multipler for all the commando flamethrowerspecials is 4, so if you want to know what your real attack speed/cooldown.
weapon speed xattack speedx ((100-speed modifer)/100) = actual attack speed
Example1 3.2 x 4 x ((100-45)/100) = 7.04
Example2 4.6 x 4 x ((100-45)/100) = 10.12
This applies to all the Flame "specials".
If they don't revise the current formula for speed, and give a +30 speed modifer in the Master box, that will allow Master Commando's to usetheir specials at the weapons speed base attack speed.
This attack speed modifer for acid is likely the same, but I did not test it as of yet.
Cone attacks do the same amount of damage as their Single version, but to multiple targets. Thats the only difference.
