i have been a Master Commando twice now, dropping it in frustrated of not being able to enchance my self with AA and ST for speed. But my question is it worth paying for AA and ST in game, if they don't work and if they get fix will the ones i have now be worthless?

Kill a few people and your murder, kill a million and your a tyrant , kill them all and your a God.

As I have been told, eventually we will see our Heavy Weapon mods reverted back into using the same mods instead of different ones (like it was back in Beta)...

When they are reverted back to using just the general Heavy Weapon Speed and Heavy Weapon Accuracy mods, our Looted Skill mods are suppose to work again...

Now, with that said, there are some things we don't know yet...

1) If this reversion will only involve our Consumable Weapons or will it involve all our Weapons (with the exception of grenades)....

2) Will these new generic mods be the old "Heavy Weapon Speed" and "Heavy Weapon Accuracy" or will the be something different...if they are different that will mean that the old looted mods will be useless and we'll need new looted skill mods...

Either way, I'm not running out to buy more Heavy Weapon mods at this time unless of course I'm getting a good price...but I'm also not throwing any away...In reality, it's up the the Commando...it's bascially a gamble right now...I'm betting the old mods will work down the road (it's what I'm pushing for) but I could end up wrong...

I am as well buying HW tapes and armour attachments =)

anyways...there is only 1 problem I see with ALL HW save gernades being pooled into 1 mod....and thats because theres Special HW's and HW's

Two different catagories of weapons....

But just seeing the disposables pooled is enough for me (also if the FT/HAR was pooled, then that would make the FT/HAR trees obsolete as well as the HW tree....giving us a total of TWO extra trees to get revamped....yet the devs said we were only getting 1)

I mean come on... the HLC has only +40 Speed/Accuracy....

Interesting I just came across this post, as I was about to hit up the trade forums for heavy weaps AA's...I still think I will thou, maybe I can get some decent ones for relatively cheap, given that they don't work. I have a few ubese shirts and mubari bandos just sitting around...What I wouldnt give to have a few +25's to speed and accuracy.

I would like to see all, including FT and HAR, placed into one HW skill mod. For the sole reason that our skill tapes will be much more versatile. Also, non of the other combat professions have to get multiple types of skill mods for their weapons, so why should we?

Unless you count BH...our fellow losers.

It seems likely that, given the different classes of weapons, the devs will probably create two different mods. Of course, that won't happen for a few months (Thank you Jedi and JTL, not) I assume. This adds some interesting possibilities. I can see more than a few people trying to creat uber heavy weapons templates using the LLC, HAR, and FT lines.

Jedi and Bounty Hunters have different skill mods for different weapons.

I did slip with BH and Jedi. However with BH it is three types (pistol, carbine, LLC) and Jedi it is three as well. (one-hand, two-hand, polearm; I think) Commando has 7.(RL, Thrown Weapon, FT, HAR, HPBC, HLC, ASL) For all of these commandos cannot dabble into a familiar tree to get added bonuses, and thus are forced to get AA's (if they worked) to get higher accuracy or speed. For instance, a lot of BHscan now get pistoleer or carbineer to help with their accuracy and speed.I am unsure if Jedi are able to dabble into Fencer or not, but will assume no since I believe you are reffering to a jedi with no skill points other than that of a jedi.

My main point is that it is radically worse with Commandos that with either BH or Jedi with the amount of AAs needed to boost their abilities.
