Thread: Just wanted to check up on my fellow commandos.

I havent played my commando since december, I just wanted to check and see how everyone is hanging in there and if we are getting any well diserved love in the future.

-I would support keeping & balancing the current combat system.
But I get the feeling they don't care.

Basically we knows good things are coming...but the bad part is that we don't know when...


Here is what we know is coming:


  • Our Launcer Consumables will be reverted back to using generic Heavy Weapon Speed and Heavy Weapon Accuracy Mods which means that lootable skill mods will once again work for us.

  • All of our Launcher Consumable Skill mods will be stripped out of the tree and mostlikely be split between Novice and Master (hasn't been revealed yet).

  • We are getting a new tree to replace our Lancher Consumable tree. It hasn't be revealed what this new tree will be.

  • The Combat Revamp is suppose to impact Commandos more heavily then other professions (how exactly is not known).

Here is a few things that could be coming before or by Publish10but no confirmation:


Adding +30 Flame Thrower Speed to Master Commando


  • Fixing our Grenades so they do not damage the user

  • Adding AP to some of our weapons

  • Adding Status effects to our Grenades

  • Possibly adding Melee Specials to our Profession in relation to our Melee Requirement

There could be more as the devs are planning to address our Top 5 and "Correspondent Issues" over the next couple of patches...no details yet on specifics...

Since I left you guys I've done tka, fencer, swords, carbines, some pike, some pistols,still neverdropped rifles, and some BH. Basically all of them, and after all that, guess what?I really wanna be back. Sounds like you allare finally getting some good stuff coming your way, and it might be enough to get me to come back. We'll see, though. SOE has let us down before....
