How well does the launcher pistol work in pvp with the bh pistol skills?

I'm Master Commando with BH Pistols IV. I say this combo rocks. The BH specials are very good, since they are "one bar hitters only", which realy helps since no shot is lost.
Eyeshot and Torsoshot have both a 3.0 damage modifier. The eyeshot has a 2.0 delay, while torsoshot has a 2.3 I think.
The LP is kinda weak in its standard shape. I would say you need to get a lootmade one and use + damage Power Ups to be real effective. For loot, try to get a SpiderFang LP or one with Nym loot. Shouldn't be too expensive too get.
A damage sliced standard LP with damage powerps works ok, but you will do even better with a lootmade LP.
The LP runs into trouble when the blast resists is above 30%.
Its kinda hard to compare the LP against the Flamethrower, since the FT is slow and high damage, while the LP is fast and low damage. But I think the LP+BH specials are a strong combo that is just as good as the FT against certain monsters.
Edit: I missed that you meant PvP. I wrote the above from a PvE point of view.

Thanks for the info, I'm gonna try my hand at somejedieventually, I was hoping it would help out some. I have some of Nym's loot, What type of spider does the spiderfang come from?

Spiderfangs comes from the Geo cave. I think its only one monster that can drop it. Dunno which one.

I see now that you said in PvP. That I don't know. I very rarely PvP.
Eyeshot is a good PvP attack, but I doubt that the LP does enough damage to be effective.

Yah, I should of mentioned it in my first post, but wasn't really thinking. It's slow at work today.
