Thread: How bout visual changes in the Upcoming revamp

Just wondering Garvin if you know or can hint at 
any visual changes in the upcoming revamp. I think characters ought to have a more visual resemblance of their proffessions. I mean BH should be wearing BH armor. Commandos (IMHO) ought be wearing armor that is specific to them. TK I don't think should even really be wearing armor it doesn't seem to fit the EU. I think thats one thing that is lacknig in the game. Outside of Jedi everyone looks the same. Everyone runs around in the same Comp armor. I think pistoleers should be fast moving and be better equipped in lighter armor (and a holster or a cpl visual pistol trick/twirls would be nice to see) and Commandos as they are the tip of thespearshould be wearing heavy armor... Maybe its just me and trivial to everyone else but I want some visual representation thats says... hey he's a commando. LOL oh well I guess thats why they're not paying me to design the game

At the time of the summit, not graphical changes were made or really even brought up...
But as many people can guess somewhere in the revamp there will be new weapons and new specials (not saying for which professions)...so there will be some new artwork...
The main point of the revamp, though, is to revamp the behind the scenes of combat (the formulas) and do some serious number crunching (defenses, accuracy levels, speed levels, etc)...So the main focus isn't really on new visuals as much as making what we already have work a whole lot better...
I will throw this in though, and I think it's pretty obvious since it has been stated that Armor is being covered in the Revamp...Armor is SERIOUSLY covered in the revamp...expect some big changes...and personally, I think they are good changes for both the game and for Commandos...

Make the HAR long ranged, give us a Carbine, and everyting will fall into place. Commando versitilty....
