the flame specials are nice, the DoT is insane, but i feign or run if i use it, no other choice. even with the lower delay of 9ish second at flame 4, you are still screwed. think panic shot was bad? its only 6? seconds or so. the charge items with a blast radius have *NO* radius at all. we still have 0 "reusable" weapons with armor piercing.

I've started to fall back on my launcher pistol more lately after I've had a chance to do some hunting with the FT last night and today. That delay is terrible for solo play. Decent for group.

(This is all inre: PvE. PvP is something different.)

I still use the LP for bleeds but my FT does better damage even without using specials than my LP does. You don't HAVE to use the specials. I usually only use flame single if I think it will finish off whatever I'm fighting.

ya, but i can fanshot for 1500 with the launcher at an insane rate of fire. even if my FT hits for 3300 or so on auto attack(a rarity) my launcher is outdamaging it, not to mention i have many diff attacks to use with it.

yeah, but I don't think most commandos have fanshot.

oh, hehe, well, that sould change things a bit. the only 2 other commandoes i hang around with both have it, now that defense works, the stances line is pretty nice.

They -really- need to give commandos launcher pistol specials and make it so the other pistol specials don't apply. Having to use pistoleer specials for a commando weapon is just awful.

Me? I'm using the launcher pistol quite a bit, but the FT is getting better as I get more accurate. My main concern at this point is with accuracy more than damage.

Since the patch I have used the LP twice on heat/acid resistant mobs.

Muahhaah. Master is good thing.
