I am a wookie and I just use shields in PvP they can help a lot.

I turn them off for PvE as they can run out fast

Um sin't acid round supposed to lower armor ranking or something doesn't that make it more equal?

Right now i'm a Wookiee Commando. I'm getting closer to mastering the profession and i've been working on it since i got the game, which was about a month ago.

Now that we've become actually useful in the game, i'm afraid that the fact wookiees can't wear armour is going to seriously hurt me as a commando. With no defense, no armour and the flamethrower being close range, can i survive in PvP?

I'm considering a change. Now that commando weapons are efficient, it should be a lot easier to get back to where I was.

What do you think? Stick with wookiee? Change? And if I should change, what to?

Ok, but even with those enhancements, i'm still disadvantaged from the get-go.

A human with armour and spice enhancements is going to do a far sight better than a wookiee with the same enhancements, right?

Is there something i'm missing about wookiee that might make them as good for being a commando?

I agree that armor helps a ton.

I'm missing boots and gloves and regret it as well.

If you are nuts enough to start all over for combat in mind Zabrak has everyone beat do to equalize and their defensive buffs.
