hello all im about 5k off novice commando now and as a pre-emptive i bought myself a launcher pistol and flame thrower. now my question for you is this. which tends to perform better in the field. a flamer sliced for speed(which thus shoots faster) or a flamer sliced for damage(which shoots harder)?

I have both.....but in PvE I tend to lean towards my Speed sliced FT. it is 3.2 speed and hits 554-902. In PvP I like to use the Damage sliced FT it is 4.1 884-1240. It will light a AT-ST up dude!

Have Flame Thrower Will Travel!

As a novice you should not rely on your flame thrower at all. When you hit flame 3 is when you can start being effective with it. I would use your launcher pistol most of the time if I was you.
