Thread: best way to get master commando?
my holo told me master commando.. so thats what im doing... well, i have 1/0/3/0 and im not sure what to get... im getting flame 4 first, then using my flamethrower to get the HW exp for acid rifle and the heavy support.. but should i get, flame 4 first, then ranged support 4, then acid rifle 4, and the last tree... the one for combat exp. The combat exp tree ill go up and learn as i get the exp (without using nades) so.. yeah, lemme know what to go up (in order) and whats the best place to get exp? i got 180K heavy weapons exp in 2 hours yesterday... is that good? i did it on dath... anyone elce know a good planet to go hunt on with a group? the faster i get master commando the closer i am to jedi.. hehe
Ewww...let me jump in here and give you some info before the flaming begins...first of, no profession like to be told they are just a stopping point on the way to bigger and better things...second, it's a bit disrespectful to ask those who worked hard to get where they are for tips on quick and easy ways to get there...it's like devaluing our entire profession...
That being said, I'm sure you didn't mean it that way....and didn't mean any offense...not sure other's will see it that way...
To answer your question though....The flame tree is the best tree to start...by flame 3 you should have enough accuracy that you can rely mainly on that weapon to get all the rest of the xp you need...Suggestions for places to hunt...I hear the Nightsister Fortress on Dathmir is easy pickings... 
As for Acid Rifle vs. Heavy Support, I did Acid Rifle first, not for any particular reason, other than it took more experience and my personality lends itself to getting through the more time-consuming parts first. In terms of holo-grinding, I don't think there's much difference between the two though. I suppose that doingHeavy Supportfirst may aid you in getting heavy weaps exp since it is a working branch of the commando tree and Acid Rifle is not. But, I seriously doubt that Heavy Support will substantially increase your exp gain, and even if it would, it would certainly not be cost effective, since all oftheweapon certs you get from the Heavy Support tree are for expendable (and expensive) weapons. So, in your case the decision could be as easily made by the toss of a coin as it could through any other method.
hmm ok.... once i get flame 4 ill work on getting my 3rd and 4th holo (have my 2nd in bank.. used my 1st hehe) so i know im set holo wise.. then maybe ill make a little money by getting one extra and selling it.....
I've grinded nearly both tka and commando on little else but faction missions... I'm averging about 30k in xp for every 2 missions doing large rebel bases.
