Just wondering about the gfx's effect for the flamethrower. When I fire mine off it shoots like the launcher pistol, just a big expolsion. However, when I see other commands fire off their flamethrowers it's a nice smooth stream of flame. Just wondering what the deal is?, any suggestions? Course I am just Novice Commando and I am wondering if as your skills improve, so do the gfx, which would suggest greater control over the weapon?

They're different attacks - you're probably seeing a lot of Flame Cone attacks, which create the stream as opposed to a launched fireball.

The normal attack is like a big fireball that leaves a flaming trail on the groun.

The specials graphic (you'l know it by the "click - vwoooosh" sound) looks like a short-range steady stream of fire.

I've never had my FT fire like my LP...LP shoots a whole bunch of little red ribbons, presumably tiny rockets, and then explodes way bigger than the FT when they hit.
