Thread: Whats The Best Weapon Choice?

I'm on my way to master commando. Just about to finish off the flamethrower skill tree. I'm not sure if I'm 100% satisfied with the flamethrower. It works well during hunts of beasts but doesn't seem to work well on stormtroopers and other characters as far as armor piercing goes. Is there a better weapon choice for commandos? Or at least a better choice for armor piercing?

Until we get better in upcoming patches, you better get used to that flamethrower.

Hahahaha, ok seems like I'm having no luck here. Is there anyway to get more bang for my buck from the flametherower? I'm at the end of my rope

To be effective with a FT you have to have one that does 1100+ dmg or 3.0- speed. And seeing as those cost quite a little bit, unless your rich your pretty much out of luck.

The only attack that works with the Acid Rifle is Fire Acid Single 1, and it sucks.
Took out my old Beam Rifle yesterday and can barely fire it.
Grenades and launchers suck.
Laucher pistol sucks.
The only good weapon we have is the Flamethrower. If you want more "bang" from it, get one that has high power. Mine does 1017 damage (sliced), I do over 11k damage with Flame Single II. Right now, that's as much "bang" as we Commandos get.
And we're getting worse with the fire blankets

No, the Lag Launcher rocks. Use it in coronet liberally...and you can totally freeze the game!

The best ways to level are Pointblankarea1 on Savage Quenkers on Dantooine. Solo group up, get buffs and some kinetic armour.
Or if you're a high-level pistol using profession, shoot lots of things with the LP.

I think i saw Evelas whoring that LP a few times in coronet... was getting buffed in line the lagged out.. lost my place in line and had to wait 14 more mins... nerf commandos!

/sigh, the good old days. I'd do it more, but...it freezes my comp too.

You know...I once hit someone in PvP with my Rocketlauncher.
too bad she was a dancer/medic tho...And I instakilled her....I did not mean for that to happend.
I should have used the FT on her..warmed her up instead...
Well, as a commando, you are pretty much stuck with your flamethrower, unless you are rich enough to waste 5-10 RL shots to hit once...Or you are really a MPistoleer with NCommando..for the LP......Wish, that all combat professions had their own mainstay weapon like that.....
