To this point I've only been on hunting missions. Whats everyone else doing as a commando? Are we strong enough to solo theme parks or dungeons? Can we PvP? Just trying to get an idea of where I can go with this profession.

I like to hunt Storm Troopers with flame IV. Or hit Rancors with RL or Acid Launcher if your feal liek you can throw some creds. Or just walk through a are and shoot every thing.

Thats about it hehe

You can solo all the current themeparks. The geo dungeon isn't too bad as their are lots of things that are blast and acid vulnerable (you can use the acid launcher and rocket launcher). We are completely screwed on the new dungeon, as most things are highly resistant to heat and blast, and have medium or heavy armor. I played their a little over the weekend. I could take down the human mobs near the entrance by flaming and running away, but couldn't do much more. Of course I was unbuffed and without composite, so you guys could probably handle them on live. However, there are super battle droids in the dungeon. 225k HAM. Heavy Armor. 100% Blast resists. 75% Heat Resists. 40% Acid, 25% Electric (I think).

Ancient weapons and hokey religions are no match for a rocket launcher in your backpack.

I did well there, they all had around 30% heat res that I saw, and I kept hitting for around 8k. Then again, I went with a really small group.

I'll have to try some of them out. I'm currently on Tatooine so maybe I'll start with Jabba's palace. Already completed the Flamethrower tree. Working on the other skill trees now.

I was referring to the death watch bunker, sorry that was not clear.

So What Does Everyone Do With Their Commando Skills?

Drop 'em and take up Rifle/TK, Rifle/Fencer, Rifle/CM or Rifle/Doc, so they can have a working profession or two for a change

I can solo most of the first floor of the corvette using 50%ish composite - unbuffed.

Beyond that, I use HSW on heavily armored stuff alot.
