Thread: TC Commando's, a little present

Well, our grenades finally have a use, well sort of. While they are still pathetic and all that jazz that we have discussed ad nauseum, they still provide pure combat experience, which can be exchanged to pick up fs skills at 3:1 instead of weapon exp which is 30:1. Well, since I want to get my force enhancement, I bought all of michaels grenades this morning. Thats the bad news. The good news is that I also set up a production run of 1000 +31.49% grenade powerups, which is far more than I will ever need, and I therefore will be leaving a bunch in the guildhall for people to take at their leisure.



P.S. I need to catch up with neglexis and get my nades sliced.

Isn't it a little overkill to slice grenades when you're going to use several crates or more? You know I can't slice a crate at a time, only 5-packs.

I'd just get a few crates of protons, repair kits, and my trusty droid and head out grinding crazed gurrecks, or mawgax'.

I meant overkill on my supplies of clamps and WUKs, really.

In any case, you can make a bag called "slice me" and dump a bunch of grenades in that, I'll rename the bag when I've sliced em. Not sure when I'll next be ingame.

I might hold off, as much as it pains me to use grenades with a max damage of only 4100.

Hey now, whats this blasphemy of overkill. Theres no such thing in the commando dictionary.







Ahh yes, forgot about gernades....isnt it odd though? that despite gernades not living up to their true potential...they still can be anti-jedi...as well as a method of gaining jedi? It freaks me out alot seeing how many times commandos seem to be related to things concerning jedi....could it be the devs hinting at us?

Hey now, whats this blasphemy of overkill. Theres no such thing in the commando dictionary. And yes I am aware that only individual stacks can be sliced.

Just a quick question. Will an enemy produce more FS xp in total after conversion if it's killed with grenades only, compared to the weapon and combat xp when using a weapon?

Two scenarios:


1) I kill a quenker with my ft and get 3000 hw exp + 300 combat exp. This converts to 100 and 100 FS combat or reflex exp, respectively.


2) I kill a quenker with my grenades and get 3000 combat exp + 300 combat exp. This converts to 1000 and 100 FS combat or reflex exp, respectively.


I think this example makes it obvious what the advantage is for using grenades.

yes Stern Synex good spot... that's why i'm still a commando... you see... a little bird told me that after pub 10 all master commandos will be force sensitive and so they will be CommandoJediSuperSoldierRambo Master

Ahh, ok. Never realised the "weapon" xp for grenades is actully combat xp. That makes it a simple choice
