ok... commando is a vary nice prof,
the 12K hits are amazing...
but... im stuck on 2/0/4/1 for too long...
i seem to get 2-3K from creatures everyone else is getting 5K from 
i can't grind .. had enough of that with my alt.
what else can i kill to get to master?
my other skills are:
master marks (offcource)
brawler 4/0/0/0 (offcource)
scout 4/0/4/0
CH 0/4/1/4
BH 0/0/0/3
please help... i wanna get to master

I Got a good set of 80% resist comp armor, whent to Lok and started working on Gurks, sure they only gave me about 2-2.5k per kill, but with the flame attacks I was able to REmaster commando in about a week.
When I first Mastered Commando WAY back in the day of when we FINIALY got our FTs to do more then 300dmg, I would hunt Bols on Dantooine, at the time they would give me about 4k per kill, and 4k for the lair, no idea what the give now.

quenkers. you can single shot them with flamesingle2 or just kinda kite a bunch of them around with flamecone1. I was able to get about 800k heavy xp out of each buff session, so it went really quick in my opinion. However, I am now kinda really burned out on these damn creatures.

oh and you get 3k xp from each quenkers. also, these are the 5k credit missions from dantooine, not the savage quenker missions which i think are around 7k.

I'm currently 1-1-3-0 Commando, heading toward Master. I live on Dantooine, so I just go out hunting for Pickets. If you buff with good kenetic composite and use Flame Cone 1, you can take out entire lairs of them within minutes. Another benefit of hunting Pickets (and Bols) is that people buy the Herb meat if its decent. I just sold a 20k Stack of Dant herb meat for 1 mil credits. All from working toward MC.If Isee voritors/quenkers around, I take them out too. All of these animals will generally give you 2-3k of XP. A smart hunter will get Picket missions from the terminals so they can get paid for killing the lair, they will also collect the meat and sell it. You can make some mad money hunting if you are hunting the right thing. If you don't care about the herb meat, you can join a solo group so you can get high paying Kunga, Mokk type missions. They drop loot kit items and crystals, so you can make mad money killing them as well. One guy in my guild has like 200 crystals from doing those missions.
Combat XP is just slow. It will likely be the last skill you complete before going master. If you dedicate a few days of just serious hunting on Dant, you can rake in the XP.

Thx for the replies guys,
well i went to dant and xp is flowing better...
there seems to be a bug (?) hurton stalkers give less xp the normal quankers???
i remember stalkers giving around 4900 xp with other classess, and quankers land to 2000~ xp when reaching a high
skill lvl in your class.
but nm, i'll have to do this slowly with quankers

I did the Piket grind myself.
Only problem I had (other than the grind) - I'm on Flurry- I grouped with my CH critrter and my harvester droid - and took Piket missions out of Sedoo for abouot 9k a pop. the real problem began when I started kicking myself becasuesince I was near Antaria City ( very close to Sedoo) I took a piket mision from the terminl in Antaria City. Darn thing was for +10k - II got a 1k raise for operating from a different ternminal.
9 million missions at 9k<-thats OK
last 100 missions at 10k <-thats better
not finding out about the 1k raise sooner <- thats palin stupid.
In other words if your gonna take a bazillion missions to grind xp check the payout from terminnklas from other locations.
By the way the meat wasn't any good and neither were the hides but a couple of profs don't care about the quality.
I sold 1k lots for 5k on the bazaar. I felt 5cpu was reasonable and so did a qwhole bunch of other people.

Last night I logged on for a short hunt. I was on for about 2 hours and I made 300k xp hunting pickets. Also harvested about 6k of herb meat which is currently worth50cpu on Intrepid (900+OQ). I'm hoping I can pick up another 14k this weekend before the meat shifts. I want another cool million credits out of my commando grind I estimate I will be generating around 4-5 million credits (maybe much more depending on loot drops) out of my whole commando grind when I count the herb meat, mission payouts, and selling loot kit items. Not bad for a fairly easy and quick grind and a week's work.

I try to find picket freespawns with the "dead log" lair because they seem to spawn the most pickets. Last night with my Gurreck out at one time I had 10 pickets on me and I hadn't even tapped the lair yet. The cat had 5 and I had 5.I put the burn on them all and just watched them fall. It looked like i had been raining pickets after they all died.I must have pulled 25 pickets off thatone lair.Thats some fast XP at 2-3k each when you consider it only took about 10 minutes to clear the lair.
Don't try this without buffs and good kenetic composite.

My experience from random spawn lairs is that they can spawn 6 sets instead of the normal 3 from mission lairs, and that they can have many more creatures in one set. So if you're only in it for the xp (and the harvesting), take every random lair you find, it pays in the end.
