I'm a BH/Commando. Reading the BH forums, everyone is so down and depressed over how much they suck against jedi and how the devs screwed them. Endless conspiracy theories going on and flame wars against jedi lurkers. Whilst the commando forums is all about what kick ass BIG F*CKING GUN the devs can add to the game to add to our explosive pleasures.
Just wanted to say thanks for putting a smile to this BH's face

Welcome Herbsman!
I really can't complain, I've visited the BH forums several times...you guys are like the front line in the "Jedi are suppose to be rare" dispute. There's a lot of valid points for BH there as well. I really think there should be a Lightsaber Shield Generator for BH only..but that's MHO.
As for us wanting the biggest, badest, most kick a$$ F**cking GUNS...yer right!

Just stay way back untill we deal with all the hostility." !Last year, I could at least run in, Flamecone2 a few, then die.We have beeneffectively replaced by bomb droids. Our DOT isn't feared, our defence in our best range (mele) blows, and most of our stuff is cost and HAM ineffective. But, hey...we still hang in there in hopes for better days! LOL! I thought me being a Kamakazi back then was bad...I almost long for those days!
Anyway! It's great to see BH's coming here! Hybrids should stick together.

Thanks for the compliments....we've passed the stage of the endless rants, flames, and the huge riots (yes they got quite nasty at times! had a few devs come and beat us up to quiet the community down! No joke!!)
So we're really on the innovative and revamp level...all on our own as the devs have been hush hush (and delay delay) on the combat revamp, and a badly needed commando revamp (save for some things...but still all very cryptic!!!)
Nevertheless...the commando community is my home on the forums....and you're all like one big happy blow-em up familyto me.... *sniff* I love this community...

I don’t know how but somehow reading this helped me feel a little better. I guess it’s the community and the connection I feel in your words. Thank you posting and sharing strength.

We are just waiting for the next big news so we have something new to beat to death. Our last dead dewback is starting to resemble a compost heap so nothing really to flame and kick anymore.

Yes I feel the love whenever I visit these forums...
And for that dead dewback...its been covered by the shifting dune sands by now =o
Just wait till they break us again (after they fix us, cuz we cant be broken anymore!)...

heh. i just rmembered this time i was out hunting nightsisters, and i logged off for the day, and when i came back on, they patched in 100% flame and acid resists for all those creatures. that was a BIG suprise.
thats what makes us commandos, eh?

Just want to echo the statements of the original poster. I've been on the boards for a bit (read more than write usually) and the Commando forum is a really good read.
I especially liked Commando Assignment #1: A Pre-Combat Revamp Commando Slogan. That was a class read!

The Commando isperhaps the bestprofession forums I visit. Mostly good reads here. Having been a MC and want to come back (I'm an equaly useless MBH for the moment) I'm following this page with great interest.
The Bounty Hunter forums is pretty crappy, lots of ranting.
The Carbineer forum, another of my regulary visit boards, is also very, very good.
