I was recently informed that Blue Glowies (Ex-Correspondents)are going to be automatically granted access into the Sandbox testing...because of this we were able to free up one spot on our Testing team (LordSeckmoth is a Blue Glowie)...

I went back and read through the past applications for Sandbox testers as well as consulted my list of Sandbox Alternates to choose a suitable replacement...

After review, I have choosen BravenIrish to be his replacement. I contacted BravenIrish about taking on this responsibility and he has accepted. The choice was very hard, but I felt the calibur of Braven's posts, the dedication he has shown the community, and his obvious understanding of our issues made him a prime choice as a Sandbox testers...

I still have a long list of Alts incase any other slots open up...The Current Sandbox Tester list includes Daker, Starnick, BravenIrish, Razorwolf and Hellshot...And LordS will be automatically in on the Sandbox (so it's like we get 6...yay!)

There is big news coming (not sure when) regarding the testing process of the Combat Upgrade and the Sandbox...Hopefully that announcement will come soon and should make a lot of folks fairly happy...

Woot, nice job picking Bravenirish, I only know the test center version of him but he really cares about the game and thecommando profession. I think he bleeds flames..........

As bad as things are with this game right now, how can the decision of certain professions be left in the hands of 5 individuals. Im not critizing you or your testers, but we don't vote for a President on the basis of 5 people's opinions.

I would hope the sandbox will grow to at least 100 people per profession.

Uggh...you people make it so hard to keep my mouth shut...I so badly want to tell you all I know...I HATE THIS NDA!!!!LOL

TH is going to make an announcement HOPEFULLY SOON regarding your concern specifically...I don't know exactly what TH is going to say or if it will actually be about the Sandbox, but I have heard news regarding the Sandbox that should make your concernmost likelydisappear....

I also think more than 5 people per professionshould be allowed on the sandbox to test. It needs to be upped to no less than 10, I think, if not more.

Or are they worried that the sandbox may not be able to handle that many players testing the new stuff at once?

Originally when we were asked to pick 5 testers we were told it was because the Sandbox servers being used were not going to be very big and that more people would likely cause crashes...Later we heard (around the time of the big blow up regarding the delay) that the Devs were trying to get ahold of more tech so they could up that Sandbox server capacity to allow more testers...We heard rumors that we might get more then 5 testers each...

SOETyrant recently gave us an update on the Sandbox plan and told us that TH was working on a Combat Upgrade announcement for this week and might have it up early in the week...TH also stated in another public thread that he was working on a Combat Upgrade Announcement and to keep an eye out for it...That's why I'm hoping it reveals some of the info that SOETryant shared with us Correspondents...That's why I'm fairly eager for TH to make his post...I'm biting my lip fairly hard to keep from spilling the beans...

Well they are in the process now of restoring TC-Prime (the no frog version) and they have the hardware for another mini-cluster, I wonder if TC-Prime will be used for some of this sandbox?
