What determines how much DOT you do with a flamethrower?

I believe DoT strength is 10% of the attack used to apply the DoT, but II won't swear to it, as I could be mistaken.

***Valcyn - Lt. Colonel Ryubushi [ONE] of the Empire (the Tank Maniac); Career Master Commando, Master Carbineer, and extremely Anti-NGE.
***Eclipse - Ryushidosha, freelancer; Scaley Master Carbineer, ranger, merc for hire, and general sociopath...that despises the NGE.
***StarSider - Ja'ahn Woo [PYRO] of the Alliance - The Galaxy's first Jawa commando/carbineer...who also hates the NGE.

People like me...because I force them to...with violence!

The DOT from a fire is actually two parts. One damaging part which is always 10% of the damage from the combat spam, ie before armor and all. Also a Wounding part that is initially 2% of the damage from the combat spam.

The wounding part scales with BF. A good guess (it is my guess so i am a bit biased) would bethat the wound part of the DOT is increased by1% for every point of battle fatigue.

Some examples:
10.000 damge in spam, 0 BF. The tick will be 1000 damage and 200 wound.
10.000 damage in spam, 100 BF. The tick will be 1000 damage and 400 wound.
...
10.000 damage in spam, 1000 BF. The tick will be 1000 damage and 2200 wound.

The numbers might be a bit off but for all you commandos whohave huntedKrayts will know that the wound is approximately 2/3 of the HAM bar when the beast dies (if you only use the FT).

For people interested in math the formula for the wound would in this case be:
Wound=Damage in spam*0.02*(100+BF)/100

Our fire DoT if directly effected my 2 factors. 1 being the dmg of the hit, and second being your targets battle fatigue.

flamespecial hit on a target with 0 battlefatiguefor 10,000dmg, = 2000 burn.

flamespecial hit on a target with 500 battlefatigue for 10,000dmg = 4000burn.

flamespecial hit on a target with 1000 battlefatigue for 10,000dmg = 6000 burn.

This applies to all situations. all npc/creatures take battle fatigue as they fight. Fire Dot weapons (such as a stone knife) also adhear to these rules.,

Hope this helps
