Thread: Do consumable weapons disapear after you use them?

I have a new acid launcher that I just got that has 33 uses and does 3100 damage. Does the acid launcher disapear after I use it? I paid a bit of money for a it and was wondering if a weapon smth can recharge it. I have novice commando and I would like to use the acid launcher from my mount to kill all the IMP swimmers in theed that hide in the water. Most of the time I use my launcher pistol but I want to try something that does alot more damage. How effective is this weapon with only novice commando?

Acid launchers are okay, but I'd wait until Heavy Weapons 3 before using one, and only against mobs which have a very low acid resist and very high heat, blast, and electrical resists.


Acid launchers, rocket launchers, and their ilk are all slow firing, often inaccurate, consumable weapons. When you run out of charges, the weapon poofs. They're basically extremely heavy grenades.


The only advantage that they have over your regular, non-consumable weapons, is that they all have at least medium armor-piercing.

With only Novice Commando, you're not certified. I think you might be getting the Heavy Acid Rifle and the Heavy Acid Beam Cannon confused :/

it's prolly the acid steam launcher you have...


but really the heavy particle beam cannon is by far the best consumable we have when it comes to DPS

It's not my Consumeable Weapons that disappear. It's my character. Why? I teleport over to the Cloners!
