Thread: The dev's are listening...Now Im hyped!!!!

Im so glad to see that the dev's are beginning to listen to the players (not that they havent before) and are going to start looking at balancing some of the classes. I was starting to get worried about going commando (Im starting to get close) but I have new faith that some fixes will come along and allow us to kick the full amount of a$$ that we should.

Hell ya, but im still not sure the fixes will be decent enough. I mean when i shoot a rocket at some1 i expect to see pieces of him flying in all directions, and to see 2 stacks of grendes miss back to back, it will take a lot of fixing to get my hope up. Atleast this is a start.

OMG!
These are way before I joined but the best part is the gripe with Grenades missing so much. And that was July of 2003!
P.S.- Nice one about the "listening" part. Simple, but cool /necro

While I believe this post was made slightly before, remember we did have a "Golden Period" where Commando was actually the Flavor of the month because, according to some, we were "over-balanced"...It was when our DoT did significant damage as well as we did 2.5x Melee bonus damage to all Ranged attackers (so we competed quite well)...
This post could be in reference to that...
We eventually pushed to have the "Melee Bonus" removed from our attacks (because we didn't see it as far to the other professions) and ended up on the getting killed by it end of things....later our DoT was reduced...after these 2 things we started to turn our attention even more to the other broken aspects of our profession in hopes of being able to compete again...
So back then, when we got "boosted", some might have felt that the Devs were listening to us (just out of Beta we REALLY sucked...even more then now...go to SWGCommando.com and look at the FT pic from around the time SWG launched (notice a max of 213 damage and 5.6 attack speed)...when the devs fixed that, some might say "they were listening to us"...

LOL, yeah. I had one of those, and an LLC like that too.
The original posts were made in the third week SWG was out.
