Thread: Look at it this way. At least Commando's have something to look forward to.
Many of the other elite professions have already been Mastered and guess what, there aint nothing left to do. Especially for the crafting professions. I was one of the first, if not THE first, Master Architect on Kauri. Sure I got rich, and had orders far in excess of what I could actually make, but making the same things over and over is not very fun.
Now the market is slowing down, Master Architects are all over the place, and there are more in the making. I plan on dumping architect and going 100% fighting/pvp shortly. PvP is the only thing to look forward to, and from what I read and hear, it is pretty lame now (1st shot wins?...woopty frickin doo!)
The truth is that very soon, with the limited populations on each server, no one will need housing, no one will need harvesters, and eventually no one will need high end weapons or armor. Its not very hard to pull 100k of resources out of the ground, and bulk amounts are easy to come by.
The "content" that is being added seems to be moredeliver/destroy mission types, or dungeons/static spawns. How long can we enjoy the same old recycled crap?
As for the Elite-Elite professions? Urban planner?....riiight. Sounds like a winner. Here let me reshuffle your real estate and toss in a cantina, and please vote for me for mayor . Wheee!
I know this is a whiner post that probably should have been on the General Board, but my point is this: the longer they wait to fixCommando, the longer we have to actually look forward to achieving something.
