Commando Archive

First post here. I don't check this board much because it's so depressing. Yes, I'm a commando too. I decided to pick this profession because I didn't want to take a class that could get nerfed. Everything is broken so weseem to besafe from nerfs.

My question, and maybe it turns into a suggestion, is about the particle effect of our weapons. Is there a away to turn it off? Not really for me, but I don't like having a group tell me, "quit using that **edit**ing thing or we'll disband you!" I had a friend try, but he couldn't get his game options set up to quit seeing it. Do you have to change a setting and then take a shuttle, ship, or in some other way "zone" before it works?

I personally love seeing the fire and smoke, but I have a pretty good system too. What's the solution?
