Thread: Funny Grenade bug
picture this, me a covert rebel hunting snorbals with a few of my overt imp friends and I figure "lets get some cool special effects" and toss in a thermal detonader.
next thing I know I have2 dark troopers (my friends pets )beating me senceless because the grenade hit them along with the mob we were killing.
1: I shouldn't be able to attack or damage a group member or there pets.
2: I'm covert and shouldn't be able to attack overts or there pets.
only comfort is that they were my friends and just laughed insted of DB'ing me 
just a warning to you fellow commandos out there, careful with those grenades, you might hit more than you though.
no offence but DUH....
you used an area effect exsplosive device, why wouldn't it effect everything with within the radius of effect?
and a thermal detinator will effect everything, hehe I know

Ehm, maybe because you miss about 95% of the time you toss a grenade anyway?!

I know it's an area effect weapon duh yourself hehe
but point number 1 should still be in effect, I don't hit Group members with grenades or pets of my own faction only because they were overt imps and me a rebel.
but me being covert should keep me from hittingthem unless the the obvious rules are in effect.
let alone them being my own group members and freindly fire is not in this game =p

they should you get thrown weapon accuracy so *shrugs* but don't look at me I only have novice commando just bought some crappy grenades cheep off the bazaar to see there effects heh
3: You shouldn't be grouping with imperials if you're a rebel.
KINDA DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF THE GCW.
My rocket launcher missed a guy I was firing at once and hot the house behind him. Was pretty funny at the time, especially since it was my house

it si the most powerful 'nade in the game of course it's going to hit for a s***load of damage
dont u remember in ROTJ when Leia (in disguise) was holding a thermo detonator (less powerful than the proton 'nade) it scared the crap out of jabba and everyone in that was there
