It's the design of the class. Deal with it.

You only have +10 Accuracy / 0 speed as a Novice. What do you expect with that?

This is actually a good point. And if the target is moving, chances are the commando will fire and it'll go wild.

Still, Master commandos with a good amount of money scare the bejesas out of me now. You never know what they might whip out in fight...

Personally, I think there should be chance that you backfire. The animation should be of a small mushroom cloud that dissapates to reveal a black and crispy commando, much like Wile-E-Coyote attempting to use his ACME rocket launcher.

lol Vaain.

Well I was going to buy a flamer, but as a Novice and now read Iv's warning I think I'll wait.

Incidentally, does this apply to acid rifles too, or does a novice have much chance of hitting?

This is so lame that they could not retroactivly change commando weapons, i mean **edit** i spend so much money on commando weapons assuming that when the change goes live they will work as they are supposed to. GRRRRR!! even with a great patch i am saddened by the fact that i have to do a **edit** load of missions just so i can buy the **edit** things. Anybody have anyw ord from the devs why they did not make it so we dont have to buy new weapons to actually get the changes.

Well i like how it stops dablers from just taking novice commando. If they want to be good with it they need to train with it.

i miss 2 of 5 shots now with launcher pistol, used to be 1/5. with damage anywhere from 90-300 base, and 120-700 bs2 added to a higher speed variable than the average scout blaster - how is this a reward to all the xp spent? of course i spent 80k on commando weapons 2 days ago, and now i have to re-buy them? why cant i get a csr to put updated ones in my inventory?

The launcher pistol is not a reward to being a commando. I'm still calling it broken until someone can prove to me what it has to do with commandos other than flashy effects and rockets.

Why did you buy commando weapons 2 days ago? You should have read the forums. I bought a rocket launcher about a week ago just because I wanted one, but I made the weaponsmith give it to me at half price since everyone (but you apparently) knew that heavy weapons were all changing in the near future.

ah my apologies - you're right. from now on, before i buy anything, i'll read a week's worth of posts in its respective profession forum, and also the respective crafter's forum...cause hey, i've got plenty of time to wade through this stuff! 25k per weapon is the lowest price i could find, and i was actually anticipating the patch - expecting there to be a rush on these weapons so i bought mine beforehand. crafters in this game remind me of management material.
