I know this is a newb question but I will be a novice commando soon and I sometimes check this forum and see 2.5 penalty. What's does that mean?

Well before all the flamers come and flame this post, let me just say that it's a Damage penalty that you take when you have a Flamethrower or a HAR equipped... I think it's a HAR also, not sure but who uses that weapon anyway? Okay when you have the FT equipped you take 2.5x the damage as you would when a MOB uses a melee attack.... Basically all non Player models use this type of attack. So to sum it up, better get in a group or get a tank
