Hi,

I'm going for Grenadeer but thinking of also getting Pistol Grips IV (which has dodge) and Counter-Sniping Techniques IV from the Rifle man tree (which has block) for defensive skills to go with Field Tactics IV.

Do you think that is a good combo? Please tell me what you think and what is better.

This isn't my build but seems like a good one to me. You get unarmed toughness from brawler and teras kasi which stack. Status defenses from pistoleer and teras kasi which stack, ranged defenses from teras kasi, melee defenses from pistoleer and teras kasi which stack. Meditation which helps you regen faster, power boost to buff yourself a lil bit also.Good accuracy with a pistol from pistoleer, good pistol specials from both smuggler and pistoleer, a ranged knockdown from smuggler. Able to climb hilly terrain without walking up it as slow as molasses. And of course your FlameThrower from commando. Seems like a good build to me and if you ever get bored you can drop somthing and try a different combo.

I myself am going to Master Commando, takeadvanced Meditative Techniques,Expert Balance conditioning, Expert Precision Striking,Intermediate Pistol Marksmanship, Master Pistol Stances and Grips, Explorer 1 Fundementals and have 0 skill points left.

Wait for the next big patch when the Dev's should hopefully move the changes from TC over to our servers...There are tons of Defense additions on there....personally I like the TKA and Pistoleer additions best, but almost all professions have a serious Defense pump coming...

That is odd...meditation works for me. I usually run around with 200 somthing BF and when I use meditation I regen as if I was in a camp or med center. Also notice I mentioned nothing about Dodge. The status effect defense does in fact stack with the status effect defenses from teras kasi, ie., defense vs dizzy, so on so forth. The ranged and melee defense mods works regardless if you are holding a pistol, flamethrower or what have you and if they dont work for you then you are obviously bugged.

Meditation doesn't improve regen at all, and Powerboost is somewhat useful, but doesn't last long enough to really do anything....And the bonuses from pistol don't do anything unless you're wielding a pistol, so Dodge doesn't work if you're holdinga flamer

I thought I read a post from one of the devs saying it doesn't stack...but whatever....I know for a fact that meditation doesn't regen HAM faster, this is proven, just look around the TK board.

WellI must be bugged then because with over 200 BF and average secondaries I regen like I am sitting in someones camp and or a med center. Also take note that the DEV's say one thing and do another.
