Any pointers?

Seriously... I'm not into PvE or PvP, and I joined this game cause the Devs said even crafters could become Jedi.

But I'm willing to stick it out and maybe I'll enjoy it...

So if any of you can help me out, I'd really appreciate it...

Right now I need to fill my brawler and carbine trees. The test I already have.

Umm... I found myself going through Commando by doing a few hunting trips to the Squil Cave on Tatooine and killing any and all creatures I see outside any city. (Even Chuba's and Nuna's)

But your gonna need some hunting partys.

And Flamethrower is the first tree to go up. You can use it to get Heavy Weapons XP quickly.

First read our unofficial FAQ, it will cover the basics. Second, getting your unarmed has had numerous discussions on these boards. Simple version, buy VKs and mediocre kinetic resist armor, find good lair of white or yellow con mobs with your FWG5 equipped, healthshot, peace, equip VKs and armor, wait for mob to aggro, intimidate, and melee mob while DOT helps kill it. Rinse and repeat. Third, once you are a novice commando, get good LP, go kill stuff with LP until you have Flame 1. Get decent flamethrower, find white con non aggro mobs, run up and /flamesingle1, unequip FT during cooldown, after cooldown equip LP and do what you did before when you only used the LP. Rinse and repeat until you have all your boxes filled substituting /flamesingle1 for /flamesingle2 once you get Flame4. Once you have Flame4 you can substitute yellow and red non-aggro mobs for the previous white con mobs.

Thanks for the tips guys! I hope having a flamethrowers worth the effort... I've heard so much about them (like I said, I came to the game cause the Devs said even crafting, non-combat types could become Jedi)...

What should I focus my stat migrations on? Right now I have them set up for surveying and healing... Which stats should I really make high?

I'd focus on getting your action, health, and quickness up foremost. Just try and keep all secondary values high enough that you can wear a full suit of good, highly resistant armor (using the FT your going to need it thanks to the melee modifier.) Strength is inconsequential, really, as the FT has a relatively low HAM cost.

You lucky person. I loved Commando, I even made a new character on my server with the profession as my NAME. Then I got a holocron, and it told me to become a master Bounty Hunter. That will look funny, Commando (Master Bounty Hunter). But I will Only have it for a few minutes...
