With the possible decline in rifle damage at close range, it appears with what we can do we are a little higher on the food chain. I think tests need to be done but I would say as a rifleman close up is weaker now.

I don't like the sound of this. If they Nerfed Riflemen (and not Rifles as a weapon class), then anyone but Riflemen will be just as effective at close range wich would totally screw riflemen. Also, puting us in the niche of close range damage dealers would still put is in competition with Swordsmen leaving us once again without a clear role.

All of this is just speculationm, though, if we don't know what you're talking about when you say "the possible decline in rifle damage at close range". Please elaborate on this and include a URL. Bad intel leads to rumors, gossip, and a lot of stupid junk so please clarify and validate your post.

decreased accuracy at close range is being noticed by many many rifleman... Not to sure it is real yet but going to be testing this.


more rumor then anything as far as I can tell... but testing will bring the truth out.

Is this seen by non-riflemen as well? May be time to do some testing myself. I'd hate for Rifleman to get a nerf.

the nerfing of another profession doesn't make us better, we want commando fix not other professions whittled down to level we are at. see that what wrong with this whole system people complain about other proffessions, trying to get them nerf when they should be out to get their profession un-nerf.

Believe me when I say, as a Rifleman, I want to get no closer then 40m. They nerfed the hell outta us, I'm missing low CL MOB's regularly with my Master CH/BH/4-0-0-4 Rifleman build and with my Master Rifleman/Pistoleer/4-4-3-0 Carbineer it is pretty bad as well, but not as bad as the first template (I do have 340 accuracy with a rifle after all on the second temp).



So short answer, if your a rifle user, you better have 0-0-0-4 CM or 0-4-0-0 Carbineer. And really between thosetwo I perfer carbineer, why would you want to put yourself in a range were your weak?



I don't mind the nerf though, people stop looking at my damage this way
