You haven't seen me on these boards yet, though I've been trolling, finding out useful info for when I become a Commando. This looks like it's going to be next to impossible now. I'm trying REAL hard to stay positive here, so I'll ASSUME SOE will fix their xp blunder and ask: Are there ANY other weapons a novice Commando can use to gain Hvy Weapons xp other than a Launcher Pistol? I heard someone mention there's some quest weapon or something, so I'm hopeful. Thanks for your help.

all you can do is hang in there. We are a shattered prof, this xp nerf is just another way for SoE to screw us. I wish ya the best of luck, but novice commando has no non-aoe gun to my knowledge (I think the Corellian Destroyer is also aoe, another novice gun)

The corellian destroyer isn't an AoE weapon. You get it either on Kyshyyk or on the Avitar platform.
