I went commando after the CU and i finally got to where i could use a flame thrower and now the Flamethrower is only an AoE weapon. There's no /flamesingle1. The only non-AoE commando weapon i know of is the Corellian Destroyer. FIX IT DEVS!

proton rifle is single target... also the acid rifle is single target too.
(the rocket launcher, acid rife, and proton rifle all list an AE radius of 6.. but they never hit more than one target)

I have to say, the 6m radius on several of our weapons is so useless. If I intend to hit several enemies simultaneously, the best way to do it is with a cone (ASL, or PFT close-range). The 6m radius seems like it just exists to get us in trouble (it's also useful in AoE groups I guess, but I don't need to grind anyways...)

The way that I see it, there are two advantages to the radius weapons.
First, you can apply states to mobs that are behind other mobs that you don't want to hit for whatever reason. One potential example would be as a smuggler/commando applying concussion shot to mobs 40m away without disrupting the concussion shotted mobs half way between you.
The other advantage is pretty much just the opposite. you can hit something 10m away without having to worry if there's something 25m away that might come over and eat you (like a pack of nunas for instance).
