ok im planning on spending easter weekend doing some good high end hunting, and what a better way to do it than tackleing smething ive never even seen, im currently a MC with scout explration bar, some great composite armour, ill have to check the exact stats on my FT but the speed is les than 2.0 with 1100ish damage and i was wondering what ill need to take this beast down? and no im not aiming for the big bad ones, just the little juviniles until i get a feel for it.

Defense vs. Dizzy and knockdown that is the worst. Them things will keep you on the ground it sucks you going solo huh well good luck post how it turns out!! I am not mastered yet and would be scared alone.

Well I am not a commando (will be soon which is why I am here lol) but I have killed 100s of krayts so will offer my advice. If you are just going after Juveys you should be fine. Keep in mind you will most likely agro the regular canyon krayt that spawn with the juveys this is not that big of a deal if you keep him intimed and have good armor (above 30k condition), then you wont really notice him. Watch out for the giants and ancients though, they will hurt you. As far as the guy saying take anti dizzy and kd food you dont ahve to worry bout that unless you are fighting giants or ancients. If you have a tank friend that would help alot, but the problem with that is swordsmen prolly wont want to go with you so you are left with fencers/pikemen/tk and all of them do hardly anything against a krayt so you will be the main source of damage. The reason swordsmen wont want to go with you is because they can solo krayts rather easily so unless you bring something to the table there is no point going out with a partner for them. I go out with jedi and tank for them. Takes ten minutes to kill an ancient this way. If you could find a jedi partner you will be much better off lol. GOod luck.
Oh yea, keep you bike about 40-50 meters away just in case you need to flee.

So how much HAM do Juvys have? I haven't tried to solo Krayt might be intresting...
In fact I haven't been Krayt hunting at all, eveytime I go to the graveyard it's been empty. Of course that was awhile ago.

im still find it hard with commando i really do i have been a commando for ages now granted but i used to be a master rifleman and i can rmember just strolling up and not be bothered at all that i just soloed a kimo or krayt with out fear.. then u turn commando and think u can do the same thing and you r in for a hella suprise...
maybe bringing a tank with you would be a good idea... because after the first rocket hits the krayt will tailing straight away.... a tank will buy u time...

IMO,TKM make a great partner to kill Krayt with. Being the sole damage dealer is a "so what". If you can get a TKM stacker to simply stand in front of the Krayt spamming these three things: taunt, intimidate, and knockdown 2. Knockdown doesn't land often nor last long, but when the timing lines up, the resulting flame DOT is mighty fine. I can solo a Giant Canyon Krayt as a TKM Commando 0/0/4/0 in about 20 min. Keep in mind, a good amount of that time is spent on my back. A regular Canyon Krayt is no big shakes either. They do use a stun attack, but no KD or dizzy status attacks. These should take 15 min tops. For me, the extra 5 minutes spent fighting is worth the better loot drops. Use thakatillo if you have it, keep the thing intimidated, and make sure to keep it burning. Dancer and Musician buffs are also very nice to have, as they leave room in your stomach for other things (thakatillo, snowcake, an emergency canape, etc.)

Get a TKM/ Fencer to tank for you. Then stack your dots, even ancients die in a decent amount of time. for juvies, if you have a goraxed impe stocked speedsliced HAR, use it, otherwise stick to the Flamethrower.
