look, i wish there was something out there for FS as well... Commando is important, but when was the last time you heard "FS content being added since no one pays attention to them ever"?

Uh oh looks like somebody delted the thread.
Ok Basically the Devs did not let the Sandbox testers test Alpha. That's right Garvin, StarNick and everybgody else was lied too basically and they have to wait until Beta like the rest of us.

i dont know about "lied to", i think its more likely the devs "ran out of time", with the movie coming out its not like they can just push the CU/Expansion back another month.
think of it this way, instead of alpha running for 2 weeks and beta for 2 weeks, we'll have a beta for 4 weeks.

Ah, I didn't get that. So no Sandbox?
But back to thread topic, did anyone learn anything from the blog? (Notice its now called a blog) Oh, and is the blog an every day thing? Because its not much info if its a once a week thing.

Better yet, what is StarNick's (or Garvin's) opinion of this shi....stuff? What happened to Alpha testing? Sincethe alpha testingis all in house testing, and we are 6 weeks away from the CU, I assume public Beta testing will start now, right? Are the Sandbox folks going to be the only ones to test Beta? Is everyone testing Beta and the Sandbox folks signed on for nothing? Will there be no public testing of the Beta and it be done all in house?
Or are they delaying the CU till after the expansion? Just like JTL...just likeeveryone feared...to be honest though, unless we get some serious opportunites to test this publically, I hope they do delay it. Rather it be 2-3 months late than REALLY wrong.

Can I assume Garvin, Nick and the Alpha team are howling in the "alpha forums" since there isn't going to be an alpha and they were repeatedly misled for 6 months by SOE?
Can this be part of the reason that the rifleman and swordsman correspondents both resigned today? Or is this going to be the "six month term limit" reasoning this time?
