our weapons are ranged so does the ranged speed tree in the fs quests apply to weapons such as flame throwers and acid rifles?

Unless they fixed it...the Melee speed counts for all speeds, ranged and melee. Not sure if the ranged speed in the FS tree does anything for anyone...and of course our Commando weapons are bugged 'somewhat'.
