Since the CU is coming and it is going to make us all newbies again I thought it might be a good idea to see what you guys went through when you first created. Good Luck to the team on teh TC btw, make us proud. You have a congitent of troops waiting here for you to return with good news
1 story is back when I first created. It was July 7th I was 3 days old and had already decided to be a commando so I was going up the marksman line and the unarmed. Had a friend of mine say he found the location to Jabba's palace and that he wanted to go there. Sure. 1 am in the morning we take off RUNNING (remember when we had to run everywhere?) to Wayfar and Jabba's palace killing things along the way. We get about 700m outside of area and have a Gigant Desert Womp rat spawn on us. After 45 minutes of running and training we turn around and burst run all the way back to Bestine.
2nd one is similar only it involved the sarlacc, some mean thugs and me having to lug my friends corpse all the way back to Bestine while being agroed by everything that was around.
Even with all this I still miss those days.

i was able to get on the first day, but the game was glitchy. I started as a scout, but i thought this was the hardest game ever, because some new characters were glitched. I started with no crafting kit(hard to make traps or camps with no tool) or weapon. I spent an hour searching for a place to find weapons, trying every NPC i could find. Eventually I found a player that gave me a crafting tool and a gun, so I learned marksmen and ran into the wilderness. I saw a diseased vrelt, thinking "hey, it's sick i can take it out easily" boy was I wrong... I had to run away like an idiot.
Those days were fantastic once i figured out what i was doing.

i remember one time i was sittin at a shuttleport waitin to go somewhere and this was back when there wasnt much armor to use in pvp, but i turned around and saw this commando pullout a flamethrower and demolish this guy in one hit with it. i was awe-struck

I remember back when the game had just come out, I logged in for the first time as Trejian Ojuda the Mon Calamari marksman! I got my little cdef and ran around Nashal on talus for a while trying to kill all the native species, when I ran into another group of newbies we grouped up and went around owning all those super hard NPC's like Flutes! gasp! and a few lower level thugs, I looted a D18 pistol and when I equipped It I thought I was the coolest guy in the Game! My friends were so jelous! Needless to say we happened upon a Torton and I though we can take it! so me and my friends attack the Torton and guess what? we all die lol! let me tell you we were pretty far out and that corpse run was nooooo fun

i was the greatest wort killer outside of eisley for about two weeks till i finally figured the game out... ran around like an idiot with my cdef and padded armor... i won't lie, sometimes i do miss those running around like a chicken with my head cut off days...

It was the 2nd month I think, and the battles between AH and Bestine were intense. One of which took place in a junkyard/graveyard between the two cities. The Imperials had camped out in one corner of the 'yard and were waiting for Rebels. Well, I spotted 2 full groups of rebels charging towards the junkyard so I burst ran back to the Imperials and warned them. The fight that ensured was long and fun. I filmed it but lost the clips.
