Hehe, I can only assume that he is referring to how horrible the ill-concieved Star Wars Holiday Special was... for those who have never seen it, you really don't know what you are missing. I am one of the few who can remember back to when it first aired, and it was awful. I had totally blocked it out of my mind until about 2 or 3 years ago when it was mentioned by a friend of mine.
I don't know why he is referencing Commando's however...

Heeh...
Don't forget the Ewok series.
All canon even, as Lucas said his movies, creations are Canon, nothing else...
He just try to forget the holliday special and the ewok series was ever created

Well I read the full plot summary and it did'nt sound that bad actually. The songs were probably lame but the rest did'nt seem particurly horrible. Though Boba Fett saving Luke Skywalker is Canon?! Wow.
