Thread: how in the heck commando people able to solo 15-22 stuff?

As an 22 level commando i cant even kill 15th level stuff at 22 with my rocket launcher and when I tried to kill stuff with my launcher pistol i cant kill an 22th even con...is this how its going to be forced group to level even level stuff?

I had no problem soloing stuff that level. Use your specials and wear your armor. You should be OK, but you might end up having to rely completely on blue cons (and the closer to lvl 22 the further down the blue cons, like 19's). It would also be prudent to take novice carbine, pistol, or rifle for a higher power attack skill. Leg shot is the most powerful among head shot, body shot, and leg shot. Leg shot plus launcher pistol is pretty good.


After yesterday's focus thread I think the devs got the point that mobs and con are a little off. Hopefully they will tone things down soon so you can reliably solo against white cons.

thats the problem, i have no specials not to mention i still cant solo blues..hell i have trouble soloing greens. Another problem I dotn want to waste points on skills i dont have any use for, its not my end the problem is that the mobs regen faste that i cant really dmg it becuase of it.

Use your marksman specials. A lot of even level (and slightly around your own level) seems really offbalanced currently...and I bet it has to do with the 2 things I dislike about the CU...

Yeah. Don't you just love tagging a mob, seeing a chunk of it's health vanish for a split second, then immediately regenerate?


I'd like to see mob regen taken out, but if they have to leave it, they could at least tone it down considerably.

That, and the fact that any NPC's around your level hit for ridiculous amounts of damage. I tried to take on some even con NPC's at level 8 with novice brawler... got 2-shotted.


Which reminds me - the issue still hasn't been addressed that someone who's ground the marksman commando trees cannot even consider soloing up their unarmed tree, because they'll suck so bad.

Theres a weird bug going on that suppousedly has something to do with armour...if you hit a mob, and it abosrbs 100 points of damage, those points get added to the HAM bar after being subtracted. Or something like that....might be why we're having trouble killing things around our own levels.
