Alrighty. The commando is the acknowledged master of heavy weapons in SWG; that said, once would expect us to be able to take out turrets and AT-STs more effectively than others as part of our role fulfilment. Unfortunately, this cannot be done. We, like everyone else, get utterly owned by manned turrets (spent 7 hours testing PvP today). Currently, there is no real way to take out a turret except for a rifleman using /takecover and conceal shot (which is funny, because we're supposed to be the ones capable of taking these babies out -chuckle-). Anyway, my suggestion is this: Allow commandos to have a new weapon, certed at master level, that ONLY works on objects: specifically, Turrets and AT-STs. This weapon (perhaps an Improved Rocket Launcher?) should be able to fire at 80m and inflict 5-10k a shot, perhaps more. After all, turrets have 200,000 HAM or so and can kill you in just a few shots.


This would then guarrantee our role in PvP and also give attackers a way to actually penetrate base defenses
