well when iwas building up that xp i grinded through crazed durni mission out of coronet. each one gave 32 combat xp and i killed a lot of them every mission run and made some easy money while doing it, but back when i did it they payed 3200 credits a mission, thats why i stuck with those mission, not sure how they pay now.

It pays 1.2k now, and theyre all 2k meter runs. Im training unarmed so im goin slow, but REAL easy way to get combat xp [since you can use guns for it] is to go to the GSP city late at night when no ones on, go to the safespot, let all 6-8 swarm you, do point blank area over and over and over, each gsp gives 2.5k exp, so 250 combat x 6-8 you just killed + the 900 OQ hides they give = easy combat xp. The city is in talus south of nashal about 5k meters.

There are 2 things you can do to increase your combat exp as far as I can tell.

1. Buy a ton of grenades and toss them at the mobs you are killing until you hit and damage them once. This will result in additional combat exp every kill. Instead of 32 exp, you will get approx 32+50.

2. Get novice scout and make the the novice dart trap (forgot name). It is the one that does damage when it hits a mob (not the one that drops melee defense). Every time you will get trapping exp (approx 50), but also it will add approx 50 combat exp to each kill.

3. You can do either of the above, get in a group and go to an adventure planet and get either 1 frag or 1 trap to land on every kill your group makes. This will net you an additional 100-1000 combat exp depending on the mob.

Here's what I did...

Frist, get a good FWG5 pistol...sliced for speed and add power-ups for damage...rack up tons of pistol xp (plus combat xp) using healthshot1...when you can, get novice pistoleer...even if you don't plan on going that route, it great for healthshot2 (which is useful as a launcher pistol special anyway)...you can then create a macro that stacks healthshot1 & 2....very nice bleed...much quicker kills which leads to faster combat xp...

Yep, trapping skills are also a must...One thing I did was run to the mountians south of Kaadara on Naboo...they are typically Giant Peko Pekos that hang out there...if you stand right on a steep incline, the creature won't hit you very often, if at all...then just throw trap after trap until you run out...then kill it...trust me...I got the 30,000 combat pretty fast that way...

Hope it helps...and Welcome (almost) to the club!!!

It takes a while, but if you consider going novice pistoleer too, just go to talus and kill giant dalyrakes (foaming vynocks to become novice pistoleer if you aren't already). They live therejust around the citys, run 2km in one direction from nashal or daeric and then run circles around it with that initial 2km distance as your steady radius. You will find many of them within a couple of minutes.

That's all I have left to get novice. Any good places to go to hunt if my only combat skills are Unarmed IV and Master Marksman?
