though i am unsure as to whether this was part of the games intentional design, i recently encountered a problem with my Flame DOT and loot rights. I have read before that its damage is counted in its own seperate little counter, not affecting mine at all. The other night i was doing some missions for factioin points. When i came to the stormtrooper camp all 3 (maybe 4) were bunched up nicely for me to just /flamecone2 them. I hit all then pulled out my pistol for some pistol xp. By the time i had killed the first one with my pistol (hey im only a novice pisoleer) the others were dead. The problem was i only had loot rights to the one that i hit with my pistol. Now i realize this system, intentional or otherwise (though i would think otherwise, as the DOTS still give me Heavy Weapons XP), prevents me from damage whoring others who are killing krayts or FS NPCs but there should be a way where my DOT is seperate, assuming thats the way you want it, but i still get credit for it if nothing else damaged it.

not a major issue, but kind of an annoyance

I dont know if it was intentional or not, but thats why I always target each one individually after doing a cone.
